It may be the stuff of fantasy for some, but it came as a bit of a shock to one couple to discover cold beer pouring out of their household taps.
Russell Brown (31) and his wife Bronwyn came home to find all of their kitchen and bathroom taps - even the shower - were no longer hooked up to the water mains, but a cluster of beer kegs under their central Auckland home.
The prank was carried out by Russell's younger brother, Sean (29), with the help of beer brewer Tui, and a host of tradesman mates.
The gang set the house up with hidden cameras to capture the surprised looks on the couple's faces as they tried to wash their hands and pour a glass of water. A frothy, cold beer came out of the kitchen taps instead.
Beer company Tui - known for its tongue-in-cheek advertisements - came up with the idea and offered it to the tradesmen to find a willing prankster to take part.
