Police are speaking to a person of interest. Inquiries are ongoing.

A witness reported seeing a woman aged between 20 and 30 being removed form the scene by police.

Emergency services were called to the scene on School Rd, Te Atatu, shortly after 4pm, a police spokeswoman said.

A witness a the scene said about 15 people in their mid 20s were at the property, alongside approximately 10 police, an ambulance and a St John rapid response vehicle.

"The people from the house were crying and screaming - it looked like they'd been having a party," he said.

Neighbours stood on the street watching as an ambulance reversed into the property's driveway, but not long after it was then moved back out and parked on the street.
