The discovery of the body of a woman in the south Auckland suburb of Otahuhu this morning is being treated as suspicious.
Ambulance officers called police shortly before 7am and the area was cordoned off.
"There is a suspicious death, It is a female and we are looking into it at this stage," said Inspector Barry Smallie from the police Northern Communications Centre in Auckland.
"The cause of death is the key factor."
