In living memory

Team effort was the key to fixing the slumping floor of the Taieri Mouth Store during an April 1986 weekend, and shown here is a team of locals working together to save their community shop. They were directed by a Dunedin builder who has a crib at Taieri Mouth, Mr Keith Chapman (centre).
