Practising before competing in the Dunedin district 1986 Westpac School Music Competition, are Logan Park jazz band members Juliet Pope (trumpet), Sophie Bond (saxophone), Lucy Mulgan (guitar), and Linda MacKnight (twin saxophone). Held at the Otago Boys’ High School auditorium, the competition, which attracted 33 entries, will continue tonight. Winners of the competition will compete in the national finals in Wellington later in the year.
