Teviot Valley residents are gearing up for the annual Teviot Tartan Time festival.
The event is being planned for September 11 to 13, taking place in Roxburgh and Millers Flat.
Teviot Tartan Time committee member Trudie Marsh said this year's event would be over three days and give the community the chance to celebrate its Celtic heritage.
Although the committee was the ''driving'' force behind the event, sports groups and businesses in the community organised their own festival events.
A new addition was a letterbox decorating competition, but the popular Teviot Valley Wearable Tartan Art Awards would not feature this year.
