Teen pulls knife on boy in Cromwell: police

Cromwell police are investigating an incident in which a 15-year-old boy allegedly threatened another teenager with a knife in the town yesterday.

A teenage boy was walking through Anderson Park on his way to the Cromwell Mall about 5pm when he was approached by the 15-year-old, threatened and a knife was allegedly presented, Sergeant Andy Reed said.

''Obviously it's of concern, we can't have young people walking around with knives, and even more so for them to be presenting them and threatening people,'' Sgt Reed said.

He believed the boys were known to each other.

No further details were available.
