Commemorative plaques will be unveiled at a special Anzac service at the Waitaki Boys' High School Hall of Memories on Tuesday.
The school is renowned for the exceptionally high number of past pupils who died in overseas conflicts.
Each year its Anzac service attracts large numbers of old boys and their families, as the names of its war victims are read by the head boy and deputy head boy.
This year, four plaques will join those already lining the hall. One contains the names of four past pupils who served in World War 2 and whose names were omitted from the original register.
The other new plaques list those who served in Malaya and Borneo from 1948 to 1966, Korea from 1950 to 1953 and Vietnam from 1965 to 1972.
The guest speaker at the service will be retired Colonel Tony Wales, a former prefect at the school who also served overseas.
The service starts at 11am and will end with all current pupils laying poppies on the quadrangle outside the hall.
