A woman has been charged in relation to a crash that killed a motorcyclist at the highway turnoff to Moeraki this morning.
Police said they were called to the scene - at State Highway 1/Hillgrove-Moeraki Rd - at 10.40am.
The crash involved a motorcycle, campervan and car, police said.
Initial reports suggested a person was seriously injured; however, police later confirmed the male motorcyclist had died.
This evening police said a 28-year-old woman was due to appear in Dunedin District Court tomorrow charged with careless driving causing death.
