An investigation into a commercial jet-boat accident on the Dart River, near Glenorchy, last year has been completed, but a final report is still about three months away.
The Transport Accident Investigation Commission inquired into the jet-boat capsize, which caused minor injuries to three people on February 20, 2009.
Commission deputy chief investigator Ken Mathews said the investigator had completed his review and was finalising a draft report.
The draft report would have to be approved before being sent to "interested persons" for feedback. The report would not be made final until June, he said.
Three of the 18 passengers on the jet-boat, operated by Dart River Jet Safaris, received minor injuries when the boat overturned just north of the Dart River bridge.
An English and a Scottish tourist received shoulder injuries when the boat rolled over.
They were treated at Lakes District Hospital, in Frankton, and discharged.
An American visitor was also treated for a bruised knee.
Dart River Jet Safaris is owned by Ngai Tahu Tourism.
