On his tour down the country, Vorn Colgan will pay a visit to Arrowtown next weekend for one night only.
The Wellington musician has begun a seventh studio album and his February tour of the South Island presents an opportunity for fans to hear some new tunes, and for those who have not heard of him it provides a chance to become acquainted.
Vorn's career spans 13 years and he started releasing albums in 1999. He has one of New Zealand's finest back catalogues.
During that time he has released six albums, toured relentlessly with his finely tuned five-piece band, and won a cult following - all without the benefit of major label support or NZ on Air funding.
Vorn starts in Nelson on Friday and the February 16 show in Arrowtown will be his second to last of the tour.
Delgirl is the support act for Vorn.
The show will begin at 8pm at the Fork and Tap bar and restaurant.
Simon Vare, of Yellow Eye Dunedin, said the town was likely to get more shows this year after the success of the Big Daddy Wilson Autumn Festival show and this year they planned to again contribute at the Autumn Festival with the Watermelon Slim Duo from Mississippi on April 14.
