A Wanaka woman has been charged with the misappropriation of more than $130,000 from her former employer.
Detective Dave Evans said the 44-year-old woman was charged on Monday and would appear in the Queenstown District Court next Monday on nine separate charges.
The charges arise from alleged offending over a period of about six and a-half years, while the woman was working for a local firm.
Police began their investigation a few months ago, Det Evans said.
