The sleep-extinguishing antics of four men staying at a Queenstown backpackers earned a Dunedin man a pre-charge warning yesterday.
Senior Sergeant Paula Enoka, of Queenstown, said four men staying at Base Backpackers let off a fire extinguisher at 3am on Sunday.
Police later identified the culprits and issued a pre-charge warning for disorderly behaviour to a 20-year-old Dunedin man, she said.
