Wilding help wanted

The war on Wakatipu wilding pines continues, work to control them planned on the slopes of Ben Lomond above the old Fernhill Loop Track.

The Wakatipu Wilding Conifer Control Group is calling for volunteers for the November 3 effort.

Helicopter transport to the work site will be provided thanks to Helitours.

Tools and lunch will be provided.

Volunteers will walk back to Skyline via the old Fernhill Loop Track. Free gondola rides are available, courtesy of Skyline.
