A Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fenz) investigation was carried out after a camper at Driftaway Queenstown holiday park caught fire last Thursday night.
Because of the extensive fire damage to the campervan, the incident was being recorded as undetermined, a Fenz spokeswoman said.
A single pump truck and crew from Frankton Fire Brigade arrived at the scene in Lake Ave about 8.50pm on Thursday.
They had the blaze extinguished in about 20 minutes.
The occupants escaped unharmed and were staying at a villa at Driftaway following the fire, a spokeswoman for the park said.
