Liquor ban likely for Quarter Mile Drags

A proposed temporary liquor ban in Lawrence during the Lawrence Quarter Mile Drags in April looks likely to go ahead.

The Clutha District Council regulatory services committee considered a report on a temporary liquor ban for the event at a meeting this week.

The committee recommended the council approve the ban for a second year.
