There was a total of nine races, and Pembrook Playboy, driven by Nathan Williamson, was the winner of the Invercargill Cup.
The next race was won by Memphis Tennessee (pictured), driven by veteran Blair Orange.
Every event-goer had a chance to win, however, as a $500 Fiordland travel package could be won by a draw of losing tickets.
The event was free, with plenty of children’s activities.
These included bouncy castles, bumper balls, sumo suits, a kids’ tote, sack races, a heads-and-tails game and horseshoe throwing.
