More money could be on the way for the Gore group charged with fostering relations with the town's sister city in New South Wales.
A shared love of country music by Gore and Tamworth led to a sister-city relationship being formed several years ago, and there are regular visits and exchanges between the two towns.
A report tabled at this week's Gore District Council community services committee meeting recommended more money and a change of personnel for the sister city committee.
The committee accepted the recommendations.
The moves have been prompted by the resignation of longtime sister-city committee chairwoman Barbara Mackay, who helped the council look at ways of rejuvenating the organisation.
Any budget increase will be included in the 2010-11 draft estimates.
