Two people have been injured in a crash on State Highway 6 north of Invercargill this afternoon.
A spokeswoman confirmed police were called to the scene, at the corner of North and McIvor Rds, about 2.10pm.
''It looks to involve a car and a truck," she said.
Ambulance had been requested.
In an update, St John communications advisor Gerard Campbell said two people were taken to Southland Hospital with moderate injuries.
