Following the success of last year’s market, Upper Clutha Farmers’ Market Committee member Amanda Snow, of Luggate, was hoping the community would support it again over summer.
"We received really good community support last time we held the markets, so it would be good to receive something of a similar nature," she said.
A small committee of locals formed the committee to cater to the expansion of the market and the number of attendees expected.
The Upper Clutha Farmers’ Market prided itself on supporting growers and producers from the Upper Clutha basin, with limited third party sellers, she said.
The market will feature goods such as seasonal fruits and vegetables, bread, eggs, cheese, butchery, fish and flowers, as well as a selection of "yummy brunch foods", and will run from 9am-1pm once a month in December, February, March and April.
Held at the Memorial Hall in Luggate, the markets will feature live.
