Sonny Bill in hot water over 'corrupt' tweet

Sonny Bill Williams is facing the possibility of legal action after he called judges in the Daniel Geale-Anthony Mundine fight "corrupt" on Twitter, according to Australian reports.

After the fight, which Mundine lost, Williams posted a photo and tweeted: "Hanging out with @Anthony-Mundine celebrating a victory. We don't pay attention to corrupt judges!!"

The judges of the IBF Middleweight World title fight held in Sydney on Wednesday night are considering a defamation case over the comments, news.com.au reported this morning.

Williams' comments went to his more than 200,000 Twitter followers.

NSW Combat Authority boss Denis Fitzgerald said he would wait for a report due next week about what had happened before deciding what action to take, the website reported.
