Kaikorai 201/7 beat Albion 196/8.

An 89-run partnership from Iain Robertson and Tim Muir gave Kaikorai an easy win over Albion with 13 overs and three wickets to spare.

Robertson hit 75 runs from 78 deliveries after coming in with Kaikorai at 45 for four chasing 196.

Muir scored his second half century in as many weeks with his unbeaten 54 coming from only 51 deliveries.

Mark Craig was the best of the bowlers for Albion, picking up three wickets for 53 runs off 10 overs. Jamie Glenn scored 53 runs with the bat, but with three of his team-mates not scoring, it was always going to be hard for Albion to post a large enough score.

Green Island 206/3 beat Carisbrook-Dunedin 205/9

Green Island opener Greg Croudis top-scored with 78 runs batting through the innings to lead his team to a seven-wicket victory against Carisbrook-Dunedin.

Croudis, along with captain Jordan Sheed (36) and Mark Joyce (42), ensured Carisbrook-Dunedin's total of 202, was easily reached.

Carisbrook-Dunedin's chances were not helped by conceding 25 extras, and having opening batsman Nick Eathorne run out without facing a delivery.

Captain Brad Rodden top-scored for Carisbrook-Dunedin with 68 runs from 89 deliveries, but had little support from his team-mates. Several made starts but did not go on.

Otago Country 181/1 beat Taieri 180/10

A second-wicket unbroken partnership between James Pyle (66) and captain Brendan Domigan (91) enabled Otago Country to coast to victory with more than 17 overs remaining against a disappointing Taieri side.

George Spittle was the lone shining light for the beaten side, scoring 85 runs from 88 deliveries, while only three of his team-mates made double figures.

Wickets were shared around by the Otago Country bowlers, who bowled Taieri out for 180 in just over 35 overs.

University-Grange 228 all out beat North East Valley 224 all out

University-Grange snuck home with a four-run win against North East Valley, after an impressive century from Jesse Simpson.

Opening batsman Ben Millar paced the chase with 85, but regularly lost partners at the other end.

The last four wickets fell for just eight runs, meaning North East Valley lost by four runs with an over to spare.

Simpson also starred with the ball, delivering three wickets in an economic 10-over spell for just 27 runs.

Darren Broom was the pick of the bowlers for North East Valley, but his three wickets came at the price of 53 runs.
