League: Injured Farah named for Blues

Robbie Farah has been named in the NSW side for State of Origin III despite fracturing a hand last weekend.

Farah injured his hand in Wests Tigers' loss to Penrith on Sunday and is facing a race against the clock to be fit for the Origin decider in Brisbane on Wednesday week.

Blues coach Laurie Daley on Tuesday named the same 17 that won game two at the MCG two weeks ago.

Josh Reynolds and Ryan Hinchcliffe were not named in the team, but will travel to the Blues' Coffs Harbour base on Tuesday afternoon as shadow players and cover for Farah.

"It's great that we're able to get the 17 back. They did a terrific job in Game II but obviously going up to Suncorp, it's going to be an extremely difficult task," Daley said at the Revesby Workers Club.

"Robbie's been a big part of our team and will continue to be a big part of our team.

"We'll give him every opportunity to be right.

"He's a leader and he's an important member, so we'll see how it pans out."
