The Southern Steel is set to play the Central Pulse in the ANZ Premiership final.
The Pulse beat the Northern Mystics in today's elimination final in Wellington 59-52.
After trailing 16-10 at the end of the first quarter, the Pulse hit back to win the next quarters 18-14 and 17-14, taking the lead through a close period of the game.
It then held the Mystics to just eight fourth-quarter goals, scoring 14 itself to pull away.
The Pulse will meet the unbeaten Steel in Invercargill on Wednesday night.
