The team of Bridget Becker, Brydie Donald, Rissy Jones and Linda Geary won the feature game at the Dunedin Ice Stadium and is unbeaten after two rounds.
Wendy Becker had no answer to her daughter's skills and precision and her team of Liz Matthews, Christine Bewick and Caroline Cooney was outplayed from the start.
It was a significant win because Wendy Becker has just finished some hard match play at the world senior championships in Dunedin in May.
Bridget Becker also had a commanding 7-2 win against New Zealand representative Natalie Campbell (Auckland) to retain her unbeaten record.
Wendy Becker kept her family on top by beating Campbell 10-4.
The men's competition is more even, with Dan Mustapic's team leading the competition with three wins.
The team of Mustapic, Hans Frauenlob, Ken Thompson and Lorne de Pape beat John Campbell 7-2, Davey Greer 9-5 and Charlie McLeod 10-1.
But they still have to overcome the Becker clan because teams skipped by Peter Becker (father) and Sean Becker (son) are both unbeaten after two rounds.
The championships continue at the Dunedin Ice Stadium today and the semi-finals (9.30am) and finals (1.30pm) will be played tomorrow.
