Snow Sports New Zealand chief executive Ross Palmer and promising junior New Zealand free skier Sam Lee (17), both of Wanaka, have acknowledged scuffling with each other at Cardrona Alpine Ski Resort last Friday.

It has been alleged the confrontation, which is understood to have involved pushing and swearing, happened after Lee attempted to cut across a chairlift queue in front of Palmer to reach some friends.

Both parties told the Otago Daily Times yesterday they were not interested in laying charges, had apologised to each other and would put the matter behind them.
