There were no complaints about a rain-soaked evening at Forbury Park from Sheree Tomlinson after she notched her 100th driving win in New Zealand with Hurricane Banner.

The reinswoman said the thought of reaching that milestone so early in her career would have been unbelievable when she started driving.

"That was great. I definitely did not think I would drive 100 winners only in my third season of driving."

Tomlinson urged Hurricane Banner up the a rain-sodden passing lane to win for Balfour trainer Shane Matheson.

She said reaching the milestone in Matheson's colours meant a lot.

"They are one of my main stables and it is great to get a milestone like this for them.

"They support me a lot driving down here.

"And the horse, too; he has been so honest."

Amaretto Sun's 2017 group 1 win in the Dominion at Addington clearly rated as Tomlinson's career highlight.

Although, she was quick to mention the trainers that allowed her to build up her career to get the opportunity to drive in that race.

"Obviously, I wouldn't be able to drive at the big meetings if I didn't get the wins before then.

"So that is down to the trainers all over the country that have supported me.

Tomlinson paid tribute to her employer, Mark Jones, and her family for supporting her career.

Jones has given Tomlinson the chance to further her career in Australia this weekend.

She will drive possible Harness Jewels raider Lulu Le Mans, from Jones' Australian stable, at Newcastle tomorrow night.

Tomlinson will reunite with Barrett, who she won with at Roxburgh in January, at Armidale on Sunday.

"I really want to take the opportunity to go over there and drive.

"I have only been working for Mark for a year and he has given me a lot of opportunities."
