Double Bundy created a fine impression when he qualified as a trotter at the Orari trials on Saturday.
Double Bundy won his test by 12 lengths in 3.17.7 for the 2400m on the grass track.
His time was 8.3sec inside the required time.
Double Bundy is a 3yr-old by Dr Ronerail from Kelly Bundy and is trained by his co-owner Michael Heenan at Rakaia.
Kelly Bundy, a daughter of Sundon and Peg Bundy, won four races when trained by Tony Herlihy.
Soncerre showed her fitness when she was successful at the Oamaru trials on Sunday for co-owner and trainer Syd Brown.
The 3yr-old daughter of Christian Cullen and Surf Queen had nine starts last term.
She has not raced since May 31.
She showed speed with a splendid win at her first start last season in a 2yr-old race at Addington from the stable of Tim Butt and Phil Anderson.

• Luke Nolen was suspended for nine days for careless riding at Flemington on Saturday.
He is out until midnight on Boxing Day.
• Nash Rawiller received his second careless riding suspension of the week, with stewards giving him eight meetings for his ride on African Prince at Rosehill on Saturday.
Rawiller was suspended on Wednesday for his part in causing the fall of Kathy O'Hara at Rosehill.
Rawiller is out until January 15.
