Otago has announced the team to defend its Mainland interprovincial crown.
The province has named 25 rowers, including two reserves, to compete at the regatta on Lake Ruataniwha on October 7-8.
There will be 18 races, with each province competing for points to win the overall title.
In the under-20s, Otago has named four men's scullers and four sweepers, alongside four open competitors and a coxswain.
The open team is made up of two national junior team members in Bradley Leydon and Mark Taylor, as well as New Zealand Universities representative Sam Johnston and promising local product Corey Lewis.
A team of nine women has been named, in addition to a cox.
Lauren Farnden is the coaching co-ordinator, while Mitch Carroll is team manager.
Bryce Abernethy and Allan Whitfield will coach the men's sculling and sweeping teams respectively, while Holly Fletcher is the women's coach.
Otago last year won 12 of the 18 races and claimed the title with 48 points. Canterbury was second, seven points adrift.
