King’s, SBHS draw 20-20

Southland Boys’ secured a 20-20 draw against King’s with a late try in the interschool fixture in Invercargill yesterday.

King’s led 13-12 at the break, but fell behind when Mika Muliaina drilled a penalty early in the second spell. Sam Nemec-Vial scored for King’s and Dylan Pledger’s conversion gave the visiting side a five-point buffer heading into the final quarter.

Winger Kiseki Fifita scored to tie the game up with eight minutes remaining.
