The All Blacks team naming for Saturday's Bledisloe Cup test against Australia in Auckland has been put back a day, allowing the fitness of first five-eighths Luke McAlister and Stephen Donald to be further assessed.
The team to contest the opening Tri-Nations test of the year was scheduled to be named tomorrow but has been delayed until 9am on Wednesday.
McAlister (back) and Donald (hamstring) are battling injuries but both ran freely at a training session this morning and the All Blacks selectors need extra time to gauge their readiness.
All of the squad trained this morning with the exception of centre Isaia Toeava, who was already ruled out with a foot stress fracture.
