Hayden Parker and Ben Nowell ignited a dominant display from the back line for Taieri to record a convincing 36-20 win over Southern at Bathgate Park.
Taieri still leads the Gallaway Trophy competition with 72 points and is followed by Dunedin 60, University A 48, Southern 47, Alhambra-Union 45, Kaikorai 36, Harbour 33, Green Island 28 , Zingari-Richmond 20 and Pirates 17.
