40% of voters remain confident the All Blacks are still full steam ahead towards defending the World Cup that they won in 2011.
A decent slice of fans are keeping the faith.

But there's another significant section of All Blacks supporters who have been jolted by events in Sydney, according to the latest New Zealand Herald sports poll.

Of nearly 4000 respondents, 40% say it is still full steam ahead towards a successful defence of the Webb Ellis Cup in the tournament which begins in Britain next month.

But 32% are hedging their bets until after Saturday's Bledisloe Cup clash at Eden Park, while nearly eight percent have suddenly lost confidence in the All Blacks' chances.

And one fifth thought it was going to be a tough ask defending the Webb Ellis anyway.
