Tony Ensor 4/10: Was not bad as such, but did not offer a lot on attack and was anonymous for long periods.
Marshall Suckling 5.5/10: Tried hard, chasing and making a few breaks up his wing. Bombed a try when he failed to give a pass after being put into a gap after coming into the line.
Michael Collins 7.5/10: The most likely looking back to break the line and the best defensively as well. Ran hard at gaps and attracted tacklers, while also making a lot of tackles.
Jayden Spence 6.5/10: Broke a tackle to score Otago's first try and was solid defensively, both in his tackling and at the breakdown.
Fa'asiu Fuatai 5/10: Got a wicked bounce in what could have been a try-scoring opportunity. Otherwise did not make a huge impact either, although had a couple of okay runs.
Hayden Parker 6/10: Passed the ball well and was gutsy on defence, but was a bit off with his kicking, culminating in an easy miss at goal with six minutes to go.
Nick Ealey 6/10: Passed well too, providing quick service and at times not bad running.
Charlie O'Connell 6.5/10: Got up for three lineout steals early on, which was important in depriving Tasman of possession in the first twenty minutes. Got around the park well and made his tackles.
Hugh Blake 8/10: Otago's standout performer. Did not stop tackling and was impressive at the breakdown, while also supporting well, getting his hands on the ball and was lively in the open.
Naulia Dawai 7/10: Effected the turnover to set up Blake's try, but also ran the ball hard and tackled well.
Tom Franklin 7/10: Was really physical, particularly on defence where he got stuck in when the team was under pressure.
Joe Latta 7.5/10: Probably even more physic al than Franklin, threw himself around and was highly involved defensively, while also looking good in the middle of the lineout.
Donald Brighouse 4/10: Conceded three penalties and was under pressure from Tim Perry at scrum time where he conceded two of them.
Liam Coltman 6.5/10: Another who was highly involved in the tight, got to the breakdown quickly and tackled well. His throwing was not too bad early on, although he had a few loose ones as the game wore on.
Aki Seiuli 6/10: Not quite as rampaging as his recent performances, but still active on defence and got his hands on the ball a lot.
Sam Anderson-Heather 6.5/10: Strong on defence, saving a try with a desperate tackle at one point.
Mike Mata'afa 5/10: Was also under a bit of pressure in the scrum, but managed to limit the damage by not conceding penalties. Solid in his work around the park.
Jackson Hemopo 5.5/10: Not overly prominent, but came on at a tough time when Tasman were gaining momentum.
Josh Dickson (No Rating): Continues to show he is keen, came on with eight minutes to go and popped up a few times.
Josh Renton 6.5/10: Had one of his better games, passed well enough and made a couple of good tackles on forwards inside the Otago 22.
Peter Breen (No Rating): Not too many chances, although put a nice grubber through for Fuatai which could have resulted in a try.
Kieran Moffat (No Rating): Came in close a bit on defence, but another who did not get much to do on attack given Tasman's momentum in the last twenty minutes.
