The Chiefs flyer has signed a two-year-deal for Clermont. Sivivatu's management team confirmed the move to stuff.co.nz, the news website reported today.
Sivivatu's employer, the New Zealand Rugby Union, were to be informed of the pending shift today and an official announcement was expected in the next 24 hours.
The 28-year-old, who has scored 27 tries in 43 tests for the All Blacks since his 2005 debut, looms as a key figure in New Zealand's World Cup campaign.
