The Otago Daily Times wants to identify the very best players to have worn the famous black jersey.
Called simply THE 25, the series will determine the 25 greatest All Blacks - or, at least, this newspaper's judgement of such.
The ODT has assembled a panel containing former All Blacks, coaches, administrators, journalists and commentators to name THE 25.
Our list will be revealed over five days next week, culminating in the unveiling of our five greatest All Blacks. We'll call them The Immortals.
Before that, your task will be to name your own list of 25 greatest All Blacks, ranked from No 1 to No 25.
The one that most closely matches ours will win a Highlanders jersey and two tickets to the Highlanders' eight home games in 2014.
To enter, simply email your list (ranked 1-25) to sports editor Hayden Meikle (hayden.meikle@odt.co.nz) by noon on Monday, November 4.
Your decision could be based on anything: a player's ability or durability, his success or dominance, his status in the game. But above all, we encourage you to consider each player based on their impact in the All Black jersey.
Positions are irrelevant - your 25 might include eight loose forwards and no locks, or 12 outside backs and no props.
