A search for missing 69-year-old woman in Christchurch has been narrowed down to an area of interest.
Adele was last seen on Monday, June 15, leaving Eastgate Mall about 1pm, wearing a black puffer jacket over a red top and blue jeans.
Police are now urging Burwood residents to check their properties especially sheds, sleepouts or any other location that could be used as shelter.
Detective Sergeant Luke Vaughan said police believe Adele was seen in the New Brighton Rd and Cresswell Ave area on the evening of June 15.
"We are now urging Burwood residents to please check their properties and notify police of anything unusual, especially if you are in the New Brighton Road, Cresswell Avenue, and Gayhurst Road areas.
"If you have any backyards, sheds, sleepouts, or anything where a person could seek shelter, please take a look."
Police were also interested in any CCTV footage, especially if anyone has cameras facing the streets in the areas of interest from June 15.
Vaughan said police and Adele's family are concerned for her wellbeing and would like to see her return home.
"Any information, no matter how small, may be the key to finding Adele."
Police said there will also be reasonable police presence in the area carrying out door knocks and inquires as well as LandSAR conducting searches in the red zone area.
Anyone who sees Adele was asked to contact police immediately on 111 and use the reference number 260618/2259.
Non-urgent information could be provided online at 105.police.govt.nz using the same reference number.
