Two players could make their debut for the Canterbury Magicians this weekend.

Canterbury Cricket named the travelling squad to take on Northern Districts in the HBJ Shield Round in Hamilton on Saturday and Sunday.

Magicians head coach Rhys Morgan has named two potential debutants - North West's Izzy Sharp and Lancaster Park's Harriet Graham.

Both batters recently turned out for the Canterbury U19 Women side in the National District Tournament in Christchurch and were in the top 10 run-scorers for the competition.

Lea Tahuhu, Amy Satterthwaite, Frankie Mackay, Natalie Cox and Kirsty Nation are unavailable for selection.
