The Canterbury Bulls men's and women's sides are in fine form ahead of a double-header at Ngā Puna Wai on Saturday.

The women’s team is coming off a dominant 44-6 win over Waikato on Sunday. They will face unbeaten Counties Manukau, who top the competition after three rounds.

Canterbury sit third in the women’s premiership with two wins and a loss, having also defeated Auckland Vulcans and Waikato.

They must finish in the top two to qualify for the final.

The Canterbury men take on rivals Otago Whalers in a top-of-the-table clash likely to decide the southern pool winner in the men’s premiership.

The southern winner will face the North Island winners in the national premiership final in three weeks.

Canterbury and Otago have each won both their games and had a bye. With two games remaining, they are the only unbeaten sides in their pool.
