Dunedin nine-month-old's 'non-accidental' injuries investigated

Police are investigating the suspected "non-accidental" injuries of a nine-month-old baby in Dunedin.

A police spokeswoman said they were notified about the incident at 9pm last night by Dunedin Hospital after the baby was admitted.

It seemed to have suffered "non-accidental" injuries.

Police did not comment on the seriousness of the baby's injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
