It may be the new year, but it's the same old problem of more couch fires in North Dunedin.
A Fire Service spokesman said a Willowbank crew were called to two minor fires on George St early on yesterday - one a couch fire and the other a rubbish fire.
Both were extinguished, and no arrests were made.
