Mobility scooter stolen from St Kilda

Dunedin police are appealing for information after a mobility scooter was stolen from a St Kilda address.

Senior Sergeant Ben Butterfield said police were eager to reunite the elderly owner with her transport.

The mobility scooter was taken from a Victoria Rd address between 10pm yesterday and 7am today.

The victim, aged in their 70s, discovered it missing when they went to use it this morning.

"Someone has got to know something about that,'' Snr Sgt Butterfield said.

"That scooter has ended up somewhere.

"We want to get that scooter returned to the victim.''
