Police are looking for three people they say ran from the scene of a crash in Dunedin.
Senior Sergeant Ian Temple, of Dunedin, said a "beat-up old" BMW crashed into a building on Kaikorai Valley Rd about 10.50pm yesterday and the trio then "decamped''.
One person possibly had a significant head wound, Snr Sgt Temple said.
Hospital checks had not shown any sign of them and the vehicle had not been reported stolen, he said.
A Department of Conservation spokeswoman said a workshop was damaged in the crash.
