Woman badly hurt in sea wall fall

A woman has serious injuries after falling down a sea wall at a Dunedin beach last night.

A police spokeswoman said emergency services were called about 11.20pm to St Clair beach after reports a woman had been found at the bottom of the 4m high sea wall.

She was transported to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries, the spokeswoman said.

The incident did not appear to be suspicious.
