A rubbish truck and trailer rolled on Auckland's southern motorway this morning, spilling rubbish over the road and blocking traffic.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the southeastern highway exit at 5.15am, said a police communications spokesman.
The driver was treated by ambulance officers and no-one else was injured.
Traffic was backed up.
