Police believe identifying a woman who distracted bar staff while two armed men held up a Hamilton snooker club on Sunday is crucial to finding the trio.
Police today released CCTV footage of a woman, described as a "chubby-faced" Maori or Pacific Islander in her 20s, who knocked on the front door of the Waikato Snooker and Eight Ball Club on Rostrevor Street and was buzzed in by staff, police said.
She was followed by two masked men armed with a shotgun who "menaced" patrons and staff and demanded money.
They fled with some cash and may have driven off in a black hatchback.
The woman was wearing sunglasses and a dark, anorak-style coat with black trousers with a red stripe.
One of the men was short and stocky, wearing a white hood and grey bandana and a dark coloured jacket, while the other man was also described as short and wearing a black hooded jacket and carrying a blue and black bag with a small red logo on the front.
Anyone with information on the identities of the trio should contact Hamilton police.
