Three people have been charged with unlawfully getting into a motor vehicle.
A 24-year-old Invercargill man and two 18-year-old females, one of Tussock Creek in Southland and one of Invercargill, were arrested at Island Cliff, inland from Oamaru, about 8pm on Monday after they were located by police in an allegedly stolen Mitsubishi Triton ute.
The man, who had eight outstanding arrest warrants, was also charged with driving while disqualified and breach of bail.
He was scheduled to appear in the Timaru District Court yesterday.
The women will appear in the Invercargill District Court at a later date.
