A 14-year-old boy was taken to Oamaru Hospital with alcohol poisoning after being found unconscious at the North Otago Showgrounds.
A 19-year-old Oamaru man was charged with supplying alcohol to a minor and will appear before justices of the peace in the Oamaru District Court on Thursday.
The boy, who was found on Friday night, was released from hospital on Saturday.
