Friendliness abounds at bay family fun day

Coming ashore after kayaking on Oamaru Harbour at the Friendly Bay Family Fun Day on Saturday are cousins Cash Cusiel (back, 5) and Amiya Waldron (2), of Oamaru.

Organised by the Waitaki District Council and Harcourts Oamaru, the free family day has been held annually since 2016.

This year’s attractions included live music, bouncy castles, face painting, train rides, paddle boarding, a beach dig, flag races and sand castle building competitions.
