Organisers say the weekly pizza-making night at the Oamaru Community Gardens is becoming the most popular thing since, well ... sliced pizza.
Since the first ''Pizza Friday'' was held in January, between 20 and 50 people had attended each week.
''It's been a really cool community event,'' Ms Leon de la Barra said.
''It's a really affordable night out. There's no hassle for people, they can put together a pizza, it takes a couple of minutes, then relax with friends.
There's no dishes to do [and] you don't need a babysitter.''
For a donation, the Oamaru Community Gardens provides the bases and most basic toppings, while some people choose to bring their own special toppings.
